The Cutoff Studios montage was created as a visual time capsule — a raw, cinematic reflection of the brand’s new start and it’s basic dedication to the “wild ones” and those who were fascinated by culture such as anime. I wanted it to feel less like a promo and more like a memory, the nostalgia, the choas, the quiet little moments of love in there as the filmed rolled to show
It was a brand catering to life and the joys of it, the freedom of severing ties with not that of people but with the stress of life. It captures the beauty in the mess which I took from thier interpretation of it. Every frame was meant to remind viewers that creation isn’t clean or perfect; it’s a fight to turn chaos into something worth remembering.
